Lavash roll with tomatoes

Description

The appetizer is quick and easy to make. You can make a lavash roll with tomatoes from one sheet of lavash or three, as I do. Most of the time goes into letting the roll soak through. And making it is very simple. Let’s begin. 1. Rinse the green lettuce, tomatoes, and dill and pat dry. Remove the tomato stems and slice the tomatoes into thin rounds. Finely chop the dill. 2. Place a sheet of lavash on the table and spread mayonnaise over the entire surface. Spread the mayonnaise in an even thin layer over the whole surface. Then sprinkle with chopped dill. 3. Place a second sheet of lavash on the lavash with mayonnaise and dill. Spread with mayonnaise again and arrange the thinly sliced tomatoes. 4. Finally, place the third sheet of lavash on the lavash with tomatoes. Spread the entire surface with mayonnaise and sprinkle with finely grated cheese. 5. The most important step! Carefully roll all the lavash sheets into a roll. Wrap the roll in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 5–6 hours so the lavash can soak through. 6. After 5–6 hours, remove the wrap and slice the lavash. Serve at the table as an appetizer. By the way, my friend made a similar lavash for a picnic. It’s very convenient to eat this kind of appetizer outdoors. You can choose the lavash filling to suit your mood and preferences. I think vegetarian lavash with tomatoes is universal—it will definitely please everyone. If you use one sheet of lavash (instead of three), spread it with mayonnaise, add the lettuce, then the tomatoes, dill, and cheese. Roll it up. That kind of lavash will soak through faster. Serve the appetizer at the table.
