Description
Suitable for a holiday and for everyday. We’ll make a lavash roll with brined cheese from simple ingredients—and end up with a hearty appetizer for any occasion. Be sure to try it! And meanwhile I’ll tell you… The appetizer is ready. Serve right away.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

To make the roll, take the lavash out of the package. Spread it out on the table.
- 2
Step 2

Spread mayonnaise on one side of the lavash. Spread the mayonnaise evenly over the entire surface of the lavash. Don’t use too much mayonnaise, as the lavash will get soggy quickly.
- 3
Step 3

Grate the Bulgarian brynza on a coarse grater. Any kind will do. Here they sell Bulgarian, medium-salt. I didn’t add any more salt to the filling.
- 4
Step 4

Finely chop the green onions.
- 5
Step 5

Spread the grated brynza and minced onion over the entire surface of the lavash.
- 6
Step 6

Cover the brynza layer with a new sheet of lavash. Spread the new lavash sheet with mayonnaise again, top with crumbled brynza and herbs.
- 7
Step 7

Now I've rolled two sheets of lavash into rolls. Roll carefully so the lavash doesn't tear.
- 8
Step 8

Cut the roll into small pieces and serve.
- 9
Step 9

The delicious lavash roll with brynza is ready. Personally, I love eating it with sweet tea. The sweet-and-salty combination is a classic.
