Turkey roll with spinach
Description
This dish can be served either hot with any side dish, or as a cold appetizer. The roll is delicious in any form. The turkey meat will turn out juicy and tender, while the green, highly nutritious layer will add freshness to the meat. Instead of cream cheese, you can add other vegetables to the filling: some finely chopped sweet bell pepper, onion, or carrot. The roll will take on new vibrant colors and flavors. Preparing the roll is not difficult at all—as long as you have the desire. So, let me tell you how.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

First, thoroughly wash the turkey fillet. Then, cut the turkey fillet so that you get a flat piece of meat. Carefully pound the meat, trying not to tear the piece. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 2

Spinach leaves need to be scalded with boiling water and placed on the edge of the meat layer. You can chop them or lay them whole.

Step 3

If you decided to make a cheese roll, now is the time to spread it over the spinach.
- 4
Step 4

Now tightly roll the meat with the filling into a roll. If you have a rectangular cake or bread baking pan, place the roll into the pan. If you don't have a pan, tie the roll with kitchen string.

Step 5

Pour the roll in the pan with milk and sprinkle with herbs. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 35–40 minutes. Then drain the liquid from the pan, remove the roll and cut it into portions. The flavorful liquid can be used to make a sauce.
