Pork belly roll
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. This roll can be made using turkey or chicken fillet. I decided to prepare a stuffed pork belly roll at home. Slice the pork, pound each piece, and meanwhile make a mushroom omelet to use as the filling. The rolls can be baked or fried in vegetable oil until golden brown. Both versions are excellent. Serve the finished dish at the table.
Instructions

Step 1

1. I decided to experiment a bit with pork—making a homemade roll from pork belly stuffed with an omelet containing mushrooms. So, take some mushrooms, wash them, and finely chop.
- 2
Step 2

2. Separately beat the eggs, adding salt to taste and a couple of pinches of flour. Add finely chopped parsley to the mixture.
- 3
Step 3

3. The mushrooms can be sautéed in advance, or left raw. Place the omelet in the frying pan, cover with a lid, and cook in vegetable oil until done.

Step 4

4. This is the omelet we've got. IMPORTANT! The omelet diameter should match the diameter of the meat. Pork should be previously pounded with a meat mallet, then you can cut the omelet in half (if the cutlets are small).

Step 5

5. Roll up the pork omelet into a roll.

Step 6

6. Secure with a toothpick or sew shut with thread. Now dip the roll in flour, then in egg, and finally in breadcrumbs (instead of breadcrumbs, you can use walnuts crushed in a blender).

Step 7

7. Now transfer to a frying pan to fry or place in the oven. In the frying pan, cook on both sides until golden brown; in the oven, these rolls take no more than 20 minutes to bake.

Step 8

8. Serve hot or cold, garnished with herbs. Fresh vegetables can be placed alongside.
