Beef roll
Description
Beef roll should be prepared skillfully. Beef meat is often unsuitable for baking as a roll. It needs to be properly treated beforehand to make the meat tender. This is a fairly simple version.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Beef makes an excellent roll. It will be juicy and delicious. You ask, how? I know! Let's get cooking. First, slice the onion into half-rings.
- 2
Step 2

Fry the onion in vegetable oil. It should become soft and slightly golden.
- 3
Step 3

Add sliced mushrooms to the fried onions. I'm using frozen mushrooms, but you can also use fresh ones.
- 4
Step 4

Sauté the onions with mushrooms and let cool. Prepare the filling (or use store-bought). Mix the filling with egg, salt, and spices.
- 5
Step 5

Mix it well, add 0.5 cup of ice water, and mix again. This will make the baked meat juicy.
- 6
Step 6

Lay a sheet of plastic wrap on the table. Place the minced meat on it. Use your hands to spread it out into a rectangular shape.
- 7
Step 7

Place the mushrooms sautéed with onions in the center of the meat slice.
- 8
Step 8

Using the film, lift one edge and roll the meat slice into a roll.
- 9
Step 9

Secure the edges of the meat loaf, then place the loaf seam-side up so that it remains on the film.
- 10
Step 10

Fold a sheet of foil in half. To prevent the meat roll from sticking, place a sheet of parchment paper on top of the foil.
- 11
Step 11

On the film, lift the roll and transfer it onto parchment paper (seam side down). This is very easy to do. The film helps a lot.
- 12
Step 12

Seal the edges of the foil to form a sort of "boat." Pour 1-2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over the top of the roll. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Bake the roll until cooked through (approximately 40 minutes to 1 hour).
- 13
Step 13

Serve the roll with plenty of greens. It is best enjoyed slightly cooled.
