Minced Herring Forshmak
Description
Perfect with meals and drinks. Are you also used to the traditional forshmak made through a meat grinder? Then don't hesitate to prepare this version as well, because, I assure you, it will become your favorite! Because the apples, onion, and herring need to be chopped with a knife, the dish stays very juicy (you can't achieve this effect with a meat grinder). Be sure to choose a sweet-and-sour apple—it will give the forshmak its special touch. Matzo can be replaced with slightly stale bread. Serve with herbs and sauce.
