Pink cake
Description
Delicious baked goods for the whole family. I love mousse cakes, they’re so tender and airy. Today’s recipe is exactly one of those! The pink cake got its name from the beautiful soft‑pink color that strawberry yogurt gives it. Sharing the recipe, the bake is ready. Serve at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Let's start by making the sponge cake. Beat the eggs, gradually adding sugar, until you get a white, thick mixture. Whisk for about 7‑10 minutes.
- 2
Step 2

Add the flour and gently stir with a spatula. It is advisable to finish within a few minutes so that the bubbles in the sponge do not disperse.
- 3
Step 3

Pour the batter into the pan and place it in a preheated oven at 180 °C for 30–35 minutes.
- 4
Step 4

While the sponge cake is baking, let's prepare the mousse. For this, beat very cold cream together with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
- 5
Step 5

Cover the gelatin with water and let it soak for about 15 minutes.
- 6
Step 6

Heat the swollen gelatin, without bringing it to a boil, and pour it in a thin stream into the yogurt.
- 7
Step 7

When the sponge cake is baked, let it cool without removing it from the pan. Mix the whipped cream with yogurt and pour it over the sponge cake in the pan. Place the cake in the refrigerator and let it set.

Step 8

When the cake has set, carefully remove it from the pan, decorate it, and serve.
