Cucumber Rolls
Description
Suitable both for a holiday and for everyday. Rolls with a single filling are made fairly thin, so the nori sheets will need to be cut in half. Serve with greens and sauce.

Step 1

1. To cook rice properly, rinse the rice well in cold water several times. The water after rinsing the rice should become almost clear. Pour 350 ml of water into a saucepan and add the rice. Bring to a boil without covering the saucepan. Then reduce the heat, cover with the lid, and cook for 13 minutes. Remove from the heat and do not uncover for another 10 minutes.

2. Prepare the dressing for the rice. To do this, pour rice vinegar, sugar, and 2 teaspoons of warm water into a bowl and mix everything together. Pour this dressing over the hot rice and gently mix the rice. Let the rice cool.

Step 3

3. Rinse the cucumbers and peel off their skin. Cut them into long thin strips. Cut the nori sheet in half and spread rice on it about 0.7 mm thick. Leave one edge of the sheet free. Now all that remains is to place a few cucumber strips on the rice.
