Rolls with flying fish roe
Description
Perfect for the table and with drinks. I’d like to share with you a classic recipe for making rolls with flying fish roe. You can use other fish instead of salmon if needed. The finished rolls are served immediately after preparation. In addition to the rolls, I recommend traditional soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger. Good luck.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

First, cook the sushi rice according to the instructions on the package.
- 2
Step 2

Cut the salmon into thin strips.
- 3
Step 3

Line a bamboo mat with plastic wrap. Place one sheet of nori on the mat. With wet hands, spread the rice evenly (leave 1 cm free from the edge). With a quick motion, flip the nori sheet so the rice is on the bottom.

Step 4

Along the sheet, strictly down the center, spread cream cheese. On one side of the cheese, arrange thin and long cucumber slices, and on the other side place the sliced salmon.

Step 5

Roll the nori sheet into a roll (the filling should be inside). Spread flying fish roe on top and wrap the roll in the mat so the roe spreads evenly. Cut the roll into serving pieces and serve.
