Assorted Rolls
Description
Perfect with the table and drinks. Rub the lavash with garlic (don't press too hard or you'll damage the texture). As each clove dries out, cut off part of it and keep rubbing until you've used up the whole clove. Then spread the lavash with mayonnaise. Place lettuce leaves on the lavash, about 3 leaves per sheet. Peel the tomato (choose a firm one specifically to make this easier). Slice into rings. Arrange them on the lavash. Leave the right edge of the lavash empty (about 5 cm)—don't put any ingredients there. Peel the onion and slice it into very thin rings; place them on the lavash. Season lightly with salt (especially the tomato) and pepper. Then slice the sausage (or meat, depending on what you chose). You can cut it into matchsticks or thin half-rings. Layer it over the tomato and onion. Grate the cheese or cut it into matchsticks or slices. You can cut it randomly—no need to trim fancy shapes. Then carefully roll everything up from left to right (we left space on the right so ingredients that shift as you roll don't fall out). Cut the finished rolls into 2 or 4 pieces, but only with a very sharp knife. That's it—our assorted rolls are ready))) Serve warm or chilled.
