Penne
Description
The recipe won't take much time. It's a quick and delicious main dish that everyone who tries it will enjoy. This is one of the variations of "flotski-style" macaroni. If desired, you can fry the meat with onions together with tomato paste or sauce for even better flavor. These pasta shells will also pair well with a goulash made from your favorite type of meat. Serve hot.
Instructions

Step 1

1. While the mince sauce is being prepared, let's boil the pasta. Put water in a medium-sized pot and bring to a boil.
- 2
Step 2

2. Add the elbow macaroni to boiling salted water and bring to a boil. Cook until done, stirring occasionally. To prevent sticking, you can add a little vegetable oil to the water.

Step 3

3. Drain the cooked pasta into a colander (no need to rinse, especially if the pasta is made from high-quality durum wheat flour).
- 4
Step 4

4. While the pasta is cooking, sauté the onion in vegetable oil.

Step 5

5. You can use any mince you prefer. I like beef or a beef-pork mix. If you don't have time to prepare the mince yourself, just use ready-made.

Step 6

6. Fry together with the onion until cooked. After frying, I add a little water and let it simmer for a bit (about 10 minutes with the lid closed).

Step 7

7. Add the minced meat to the horns and mix thoroughly.
