
Christmas chicken pie
Description
In addition to sandwiches, you can serve a chicken pie as a festive appetizer. It's filling, delicious, and beautifully presented. This treat is loved by both adults and children. Instead of chicken, you can use mushrooms, various vegetables, other types of meat, as well as cheese or sausage. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

1. Before preparing, I put the margarine in the refrigerator and then grate it on a coarse grater.

2. Add the egg to the chopped margarine, add the pre-sifted flour and a pinch of salt, then pour in 3 tablespoons of cold water.

3. Knead the dough, roll it into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for half an hour.

4. Finely dice the onion and sauté it in a heated pan with sunflower oil.

5. Add canned mushrooms, season with salt and pepper to taste, and cook for another 7-10 minutes.

6. Boil the chicken and cool it, then chop it into small pieces.

7. Add the vegetables from the pan to the meat, mix everything and set aside.

8. Grate hard cheese (any variety) on a coarse grater and transfer to a bowl, then pour in the cream.

9. Wash the tomatoes and cut them in half, removing the stem.
