Description

It will be perfect with tea and coffee. For anyone familiar with yeast dough, making such croissants will not be difficult. All you need is time and the desire to delight your loved ones with wonderful pastries. For beginner cooks, my recipe provides a detailed description of every step of the preparation. You can use dry yeast; you will need 7–8 grams. Use milk with a fat content of at least 2.5 %, both for the cream and for the dough. Good luck. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

    Add one egg, sunflower oil, and melted butter.

    While the dough is rising, make a custard. In a bowl, combine 2 egg yolks, 100 g of sugar, 5 g of vanilla sugar and 2 tablespoons of corn starch. Add several spoons of cold milk.

    Pour the milk into a heavy-bottomed pot. Heat it well and add the prepared mixture. While constantly whisking, bring the cream to a thickened consistency. Then cool it.

    Remove the dough from the bowl, knead it, and divide it into 13–14 balls.

    Cover the dough balls with plastic wrap and let them stand for 10‑15 minutes.
