Crescent rolls with sour cream
Description
The baking is simple and quick. Delicious, flaky, and beautiful crescent rolls made with sour cream dough come together very fast—and disappear just as quickly. You can use any filling for these rolls—jam, chocolate, raisins and dried apricots, poppy seeds. What I like most about this dough is that it requires no baking soda, and the dough doesn't need time to rise. I offer you an easy recipe for sour cream crescent rolls. Make the dough yourself, and invite your kids to help shape the rolls. These crescent rolls will taste even better that way.
Instructions

Step 1

Sift the flour into a bowl where you will prepare the dough. Add the margarine and cut it into the flour until it forms fine crumbs. You can rub it with your hands.
- 2
Step 2

Add egg, sour cream, and sugar. Knead an elastic dough. It should not be too stiff.

Step 3

Divide the dough into 2-3 parts and roll each part into a rectangle about 0.5 cm thick. Cut the dough sheet into triangles. Place a small amount of thick jam or preserves on the wide side of each triangle. You can also use another filling, as long as it's thick. Starting from the wide edge of the triangle, roll up the dough to form croissants.

Step 4

Place the croissants on a greased baking sheet or one lined with parchment paper. Bake the croissants in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius for about 20-25 minutes. Once ready, let them cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar.
