
Rye flatbreads with kefir
Description
Sesame is an optional ingredient, so you can do without it. You can replace sesame with sunflower seeds or caraway seeds—this is up to you. You can also add any favorite spices to the dough. The baked goods are ready. Serve at the table.

It is easiest to prepare all ingredients in advance at once.

In a large bowl, place all the rye flour; add salt, sugar, and baking soda. Mix well.

Pour in the kefir and vegetable oil.

Mix all ingredients until you obtain a homogeneous dough that sticks slightly to your hands.

Lightly dust your work surface with rye flour and roll out the rye kefir dough with a rolling pin into a sheet about 0.5 cm thick.

Use a round cutter to cut out the flatbread blanks and transfer each one to a baking tray lined with baking parchment. Brush each blank with warm water and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake in an oven already preheated to 180 degrees for 10 minutes.
