Instructions

Step 2

Slightly crush the oat flakes: rub them between your palms. In a deep bowl, combine the dry ingredients and mix. Combine the butter with boiling water and stir.
- 3
Step 3

Pour the oil mixture into the flour mixture, mix with a fork, and knead into a soft dough. Shape into a ball, and let it rest at room temperature.

Step 4

Now prepare the filling. Pour boiling water over the dates and dried apricots and let them soak for 10 minutes, then drain the water.
- 5
Step 5

Chop the dates and apricots finely, peel the bananas and mash them with a fork. I used 2 large bananas. Combine the dried fruits, bananas, and cocoa, and mix until smooth.

Step 6

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Divide the dough into 2 equal parts. Roll out one part into a thin square layer. Spread all the filling evenly over it.
- 7
Step 7

Place the second layer of dough on top. Cut into equal rhombuses or rectangles with a sharp knife. Bake in a preheated oven for 30 minutes.
- 8
Step 8

Let it cool completely.
