The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Risotto is generally simple to make. Just follow the step-by-step recipe and everything will turn out perfectly. If you have the chance to buy olive oil and authentic "Parmesan," your risotto will be prepared ideally, according to the canons of Italian cuisine. But even with regular sunflower oil and good hard cheese, the dish won't be any worse, believe me. Especially since the taste of olive oil is very specific—acquired from birth and a matter of personal preference. The same goes for the rice. Don't obsess over "Arborio"—just use good short-grain rice. The most important thing that risotto must have is its creamy, sticky texture, along with the aroma of mushrooms and wine. The finished dish is ready to be served.
