Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients for making rice "bugs" afterwards. You can use any jam (apple, blackcurrant, plum, etc.), as long as it is thick. In this version, zucchini-orange jam is used.
- 2
Step 2

In a deep bowl, sift the rice flour, add a pinch of salt, mix and make a well in the flour, pour water and sunflower oil into it.
- 3
Step 3

Stir the mixture with a spoon and gradually add the wheat flour in parts while sifting, adjusting the dough's thickness as you knead.
- 4
Step 4

Form a ball from the resulting soft and pliable dough, and place it on a work surface dusted with wheat flour.
- 5
Step 5

For convenience, divide the dough into 2 parts, roll each part into a circle, and then cut each circle into 12 sectors. Place a portion of jam on the wide edge of each sector, then roll the dough up towards the center.
- 6
Step 6

Place the rice "bugs" on the prepared baking sheet (lined with a silicone mat or parchment paper, previously greased with oil).
- 7
Step 7

Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 180-190 degrees Celsius for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
