Rice with pumpkin in a multicooker
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. If you like a pumpkin porridge, rice as a base is the perfect choice. First, prepare the pumpkin (it's better to grate it), then simmer it together with the rice and butter. Before serving, you can also add a bit more butter, condensed milk, honey, or some chopped fruit. The finished dish is ready to serve.
Instructions

Step 1

1. Rice with pumpkin is prepared at home in a multicooker using milk and water (1.5 times more milk than water). Salt and sugar should be added to taste (some prefer it sweeter, while others like it slightly salty).

Step 2

2. You should prepare the pumpkin right away (if you cut it into cubes, you'll need to cook it longer than usual). I prefer to grate it: this way it cooks faster and tastes better. Add the pumpkin to milk diluted with water and set the "Stewing" mode. The pumpkin will cook for about half an hour in this mode.

Step 3

3. After this time, add well-rinsed rice to the multicooker, add sugar, salt to taste, and butter, then select the "Stewing" mode again, but this time for 50 minutes.

Step 4

4. In this mode, the rice porridge with pumpkin will turn out as if baked in an oven (slow-cooked). You can use milk without diluting it—according to your preference.

Step 5

5. This is how beautiful and appetizing our pumpkin porridge turns out.
