Sushi rice in a multicooker
Description
Perfect with meals and drinks. Those who love sushi sooner or later start wondering—is it hard to make sushi yourself? The answer is simple—not hard, but not as easy as it sometimes seems either. The most important thing in this process is the rice. Nori sheets and all the fillings can be bought at the store. But you will have to cook the rice yourself. And it needs to be cooked properly. How do you do it without making a mistake? Our sushi rice recipe is here to help. Step-by-step photos will make the process absolutely clear. And a rice cooker will save you from having to watch so the rice doesn’t burn. Good luck. The appetizer is ready. Serve immediately.

Step 1

Pour the rice into a bowl, rinse, cover with cold water, and let stand for 30 minutes.

Step 2

Drain the water from the rice. Transfer the rice to the slow cooker bowl and add the required amount of water. Select the "Bake" mode, cooking time 10 minutes. Then switch to "Stew" mode, cooking time 20 minutes. When the program finishes, let the rice "rest" for 15 minutes.

Step 3

While the rice is resting, make the marinade — mix rice vinegar with sugar and salt.

Step 4

Gently mix the rice with the marinade. All the liquid will be absorbed into the rice. There is no need to rinse it. That's it! The rice is ready!
