   Peel the potatoes and grate them on a coarse grater. Cover with water for 2 minutes to remove excess starch.

   Squeeze the water from the potatoes, add cheese, garlic, egg, flour and spices. Mix.

   Put the butter on the pan and heat over medium heat. When it melts, spread the mashed potatoes in an even layer.
