Prepare all the ingredients.

Wash the tomatoes, then slice them. Remove the stems.

Blend the tomatoes in a blender or process them through a meat grinder until a smooth puree is obtained.

Pour the tomato puree into a saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat.

Then reduce to medium-low heat and cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. There's no need to remove the foam.
