French cookie recipe
Description
The recipe won't take much time. The cookies are crispy, golden, and aromatic. The listed ingredients will yield about 30 small cookies (the size of a glass neck). I shape them round and press a pattern with a fork. Serve the cookies only after they have cooled. The baked goods are ready. Serve at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1
Place the butter in the mixer bowl, add salt, and beat for 30 seconds.

Step 2
In another bowl, place the chicken yolks, gradually add granulated sugar, and beat for 1 minute.
- 3
Step 3
Combine the beaten egg yolks with the butter and mix well.
- 4
Step 4
Sift the flour, then add the baking powder. Add everything to the bowl with the butter and egg yolks, and knead the dough.

Step 5
Shape the dough into a rectangle, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 60 minutes.
- 6
Step 6
Divide the dough into 2 parts. Place one part on the table and cover it with parchment paper, then place the second part on top.
- 7
Step 7
Roll out both sheets of dough thinly, remove the parchment paper, and cut out round shapes using a glass.
- 8
Step 8
Using a fork, make decorative notches, transfer the dough to a tray, and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.
- 9
Step 9
Beat the remaining egg with a tablespoon of water, then take out the cookies and brush them with the mixture.
- 10
Step 10
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 15 minutes, then transfer to cool.
