Belgian waffle recipe using a waffle maker

   Sift the flour. Add salt, sugar, vanilla, and baking powder.

   Separate the yolks from the whites. Beat the yolks with milk and butter.

   Add flour to this mixture and mix.

   Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form and add them to the main mixture.

   Pour the batter into the waffle maker, filling the molds only partially. Depending on the temperature, waffles bake for 3-5 minutes. Doneness can be determined visually.
