
Colorful hedgehogs in sour cream sauce
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. You can use brown or whole grain rice, wild rice, or a mix of different rices – it will be fun. Children will especially enjoy it. The finished dish can be served at the table.

Mix the minced meat with grated onion and soaked bread roll, add egg, season with pepper and salt to taste. Knead the mixture well and slap it against the bowl several times.

Shape the meatballs the size of a medium egg with moist hands.

Place rice of different colors onto small plates. Roll the meatballs in the rice.

Place in a greased deep dish.

For the sauce, sauté the thinly sliced onion and crushed garlic in oil until the onion becomes translucent. Pour in the sour cream and water, season with salt and pepper to taste, bring to a boil and simmer for a couple of minutes.

Pour the sauce over the stuffed cabbage rolls, cover with foil, and place in a preheated oven at 180 degrees. Bake for about an hour, until the rice is cooked.

Serve hot, garnished with herbs, with fresh vegetables.
