Crumble pilaf
Description
This recipe won't take much time. It's a simple recipe for fluffy pilaf with chicken, but you can use any meat you prefer: 1. Boil the chicken in slightly salted water. Strain the broth, then cut the chicken into portion-sized pieces. 2. Peel and chop the onion. 3. Prepare a heat-resistant pot with high sides. Melt butter in it, add the onion, and sauté until translucent. 4. Peel the carrot and cut into thin sticks or grate coarsely. 5. When the onion starts to turn golden, add the carrot and sauté for a couple of minutes. 6. Chop the celery stalk and add it to the pan. 7. Mince the garlic and add it to the vegetables. 8. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add your favorite spices and herbs if desired. 9. Carefully add the rice and mix thoroughly. 10. Pour in the broth and add the chopped chicken. 11. Squeeze juice from an orange and add it to the pilaf. 12. Cover the pot with a lid and transfer to the oven for 30–40 minutes. 13. Before serving, add chopped parsley and, if desired, orange zest. Making fluffy pilaf at home is quite simple—just choose good rice and avoid stirring during cooking. Good luck! Serve hot.
