Fish canned pie pockets

Description

The recipe won't take much time. I'm sharing how to make rasstegai buns with canned fish. Actually, this is a "lazy" and quick recipe: I use store-bought dough and canned fish in oil with spices. So, it requires almost no effort at all! Try it yourself—even if you're not a baking expert, these rasstegai will turn out wonderfully.

    1. Rinse the rice, add water, and cook over low heat until done. Add salt to taste. There will still be some water left in the pot, but cover the rice with a lid and let it sit. In the meantime, chop the onion and sauté it in vegetable oil.

    2. Now simply mix the rice, fish (which should be flaked with a fork beforehand), fried onions, and spices. Mix well. The filling is ready!

    3. I used ready-made dough. I let it rise, punched it down, and kneaded it. Then I shaped it into pancakes of equal size. Place the filling in the center of each pancake. Pinch the edges together, but not completely—leave an opening in the center.

    4. I brush the tops of the rye buns with butter. Bake in a preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, until golden brown.
