Description

Delicious pastries for the whole family. Aromatic and incredibly tasty rastegai—this is true, authentic Russian home-baked delight. Eating such a treat is pure pleasure, but preparing it can be a hassle. Making the dough alone may take several hours. But there's always a handy trick—you can use a quick and very simple recipe for rastegai using ready-made puff pastry. Using pre-made dough greatly simplifies the task without compromising the final taste, as these rastegai turn out absolutely wonderful. You can fill them with your favorite filling. Personally, I love salmon the most, so that's what I used when making puff pastry rastegai at home. Serve with tea or coffee.
