Crayfish in wine
Description
The recipe won't take much time. My husband is a big fan of crayfish, so I've probably tried about a dozen different ways of cooking them. One of the most successful methods I've come up with quite recently is crayfish in wine. Before that, I always simmered them in beer, but this time I tried wine—and it turned out just as good. So let's add some variety to crayfish cooking! :) Serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

We thoroughly wash the crayfish and let the water drain off them.
- 2
Step 2

Melt the butter in a frying pan.
- 3
Step 3

While the butter is heating, finely chop the garlic.
- 4
Step 4

Once the butter has melted completely, add the garlic and sauté for 2-3 minutes until the characteristic aroma develops.
- 5
Step 5

After the garlic, add the crayfish to the pan.
- 6
Step 6

Fry until they turn orange.
- 7
Step 7

Then add all our spices, cover the pan with a lid, and simmer over medium heat for another 4-5 minutes.
- 8
Step 8

Then transfer the crayfish from the skillet to a saucepan and pour in the wine. Bring to a boil and simmer for another 10 minutes.
- 9
Step 9

Remove from heat and let it steep, covered, for another 10 minutes. That's it—crayfish in wine are ready. Time to open a beer and get comfortable :)
