Pumpkin halva

Description

The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. In taste and texture, these homemade candies are truly similar to an Eastern sweet treat—tender, natural, and much healthier than any store-bought candies. Even my children happily eat them. You can experiment by rolling the treats in coconut flakes; it's especially interesting and unusual if you use colored flakes. The candies store well in a tightly sealed container and will beautifully complement any tea time or even a children's party. If you're not fond of very sweet foods, you can slightly reduce the amount of sugar—also consider the variety of pumpkin you're using, as some are quite sweet on their own. The dessert is ready to be served.
