
Casserole in pots

Step 1

1. Peel the carrots and onion, then rinse them. Cut the onion into small pieces, and grate the carrots on a coarse grater.

2. Cut the sweet pepper, remove the partitions and seeds, rinse the herbs, and peel the garlic. Cut the pepper into cubes or strips, press the garlic using a garlic press, and chop the herbs.

3. Peel the potatoes and rinse them. Peel the pumpkin flesh from the skin. Cut the pumpkin and potatoes into identical, not too large cubes. Cut the chicken breast into small pieces. You don't need to remove the bones and skin.

4. In a bowl, mix sweet pepper, pumpkin, and potatoes. Add khmeli-suneli, black pepper, and salt. Sauté carrots and onions in vegetable oil. Distribute the sautéed mixture into the pots. Place canned peas on top of the sautéed vegetables. Put the pumpkin and potato mixture on top of the peas.

5. Cover the pumpkin and potatoes with pieces of meat. Mix water with dry red wine (in a 1:1 ratio). Pour 100 ml into each casserole dish. Sprinkle the meat with herbs and add garlic.

6. Cover the pots with foil and place them in the oven for about fifty minutes over medium heat.
