Japanese-style stew
Description
The name is very complicated, but the dish is simple — a stew made of potatoes, carrots, and onions with pieces of chicken breast. Very tasty, juicy, and healthy. I highly recommend you try it.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Slice the onion into thin strips, the potatoes into cubes, the carrots into rounds, and the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces.
- 2
Step 2

Add a little butter and sauté the onion for about 5 minutes.
- 3
Step 3

Add the chicken and cook until it changes color (about 7 minutes).
- 4
Step 4

Add the remaining vegetables. Salt and pepper to taste.
- 5
Step 5

Add enough water to cover the vegetables, along with soy sauce and wine (sake is ideal).
- 6
Step 6

When the water boils, tightly cover with foil. Make several holes in it to let the steam escape.
- 7
Step 7

Reduce the heat to minimum and simmer for 30 minutes. Then serve.
