Vegetable stew with minced meat

60 min4 serv.20 февр. 2026 г.

Description

Meat stew doesn't necessarily have to be made with diced meat fillets. Ordinary ground meat, store-bought or homemade, works perfectly as well. I used pork mince to make the stew richer and more filling. To prepare such a stew, you'll need either a cauldron, a slow cooker, or a large pot with a thick bottom. You can also add any other vegetables you like.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Step 1

Place the minced meat into the multicooker bowl, add a little vegetable oil. Turn on the "Sauté" or "Baking" mode (depending on your multicooker). Fry with the lid closed, stirring occasionally, so that the meat cooks evenly.

While the meat is frying, chop the onion into small cubes. Add the onion to the meat and fry everything together in the same mode for about 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, cut the carrot into medium pieces. Add the carrot to the multicooker bowl, mix everything and sauté for another 10 minutes.

Simmer the stew until the potatoes are half-cooked, then peel the zucchini and remove the seeds inside with a spoon.

    Step 8

Cut the zucchini into cubes. Add the zucchini to the stew and simmer for another 10 minutes. By the way, you can switch the multicooker to the "Stewing" mode after finishing the "Baking" mode, when you add water.

  9. 9

    Step 9

    Step 9

Finely chop the garlic with a knife. Add garlic to the stew 5 minutes before it's done.

  10. 10

    Step 10

The stew will be ready when all the vegetables and meat are fully cooked. Turn off the multicooker and let the dish rest, covered, for another 5 minutes. Serve with fresh herbs.
