Prepare the ingredients.

Rinse the pork under cold water and pat dry with a paper towel. Cut the meat into cubes, then sauté in vegetable oil over medium heat for 10 minutes until golden brown.

Place the meat together with the juice released during frying, bay leaf, pepper, and salt into a deep container, cover with a lid, and simmer over low heat.

Meanwhile, sauté the onion in a pan until translucent, then add the grated carrots.
