First, separate the egg whites from the yolks. Beat the egg whites into a fluffy foam (add a pinch of salt at the very beginning) while gradually adding sugar. Then gradually add the yolks and continue beating.

Cut the apples into small pieces. It is not necessary to peel them. Sift the flour into the egg mixture. Gently mix with a spatula from top to bottom.

Grease the baking dish with butter (I bake the cake in a multicooker). Place the dough in the dish, and on top—apples. You can place the apples upside down or "into the middle" of the dough.
