
Sour Cream Puffy Buns
Description
I prefer to fry such buns in a pan with oil; they don’t absorb much fat. But if that’s unacceptable for you, bake them in the oven. When baking, you can brush them with egg yolk and sprinkle sesame seeds, poppy seeds, or sugar on top. It will also turn out very tasty! And serve them warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

Prepare all the necessary ingredients.

Beat the eggs with a mixer or whisk together with sugar and salt.

Then add the sour cream. Beat again until smooth.

Mix the flour with baking powder, sift. Add it to the liquid mixture and gradually knead a soft dough.

Divide the dough into 2 parts. Roll each part into a sheet 0.7–1 cm thick. Cut out the pieces with a glass or another cutter. You can also simply cut them with a knife into rectangles.

Fry in heated vegetable oil on both sides until golden and cooked through. Then place on a paper towel, although they don’t absorb much fat.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
