
Cottage cheese puffs
Description
Perfectly pairs with tea and coffee. Kefir buns can be made sweet or unsweetened. They are ideal as a snack with various sauces. You can also serve them as a sweet afternoon treat with jam. To make kefir buns, you'll need regular kefir, flour, and sugar (adjust to taste, depending on your preference). Check out the recipe. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

Mix kefir and sour cream with baking soda and let stand for 10 minutes.

Add egg, vanillin, vegetable oil (2 tbsp), granulated sugar, and salt. Beat well.

Add the egg-sugar mixture to the kefir and beat again. Sift in the flour and add lemon zest.

Mix the dough with a spoon.

Grease the table with vegetable oil, place the dough on it and roll into an even ball.

Roll out the dough and cut out circles about one centimeter thick using a glass (or a cutter).

On each circle, make 6 cuts, not reaching the center.

In a skillet, heat vegetable oil, add the doughnuts, and fry over medium heat until golden brown.
