
Easter Puffs
Description
Very tasty and vibrant puffy pastries will beautifully decorate the festive table Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

Step 1

Add sugar and yeast to warm milk, stir, and let it sit for 20 minutes until a “cap” forms.

Sift a portion of the flour (250 g), add salt, yolks, pour in melted butter, rum and the risen yeast. Knead the dough with a spoon; it is still quite liquid. Place it in a warm spot for 40 minutes.

When the dough rises, add flour until you have a dough that can be rolled out. Roll the dough to a thickness of 1.5–2 cm. Using a glass, cut out circles and make holes in the center.

Fry over medium heat on both sides. Place the finished puffs on paper towels to drain excess fat.

We decorate the puffs with colored chocolate and multicolored sprinkles.
