Pudding (Cauliflower)
Description
Here is a classic recipe for making Cowley (Caulley) pudding. This pudding is traditionally served with a special sauce. Of course, you can eat it without the sauce, but it won't be quite the same, and the presentation won't look as impressive. I hope you enjoy the pudding. Good luck!
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Press the garlic using a garlic press.
- 2
Step 2

Boil three potatoes. Grate Parmesan cheese and cut blue cheese into cubes.
- 3
Step 3

Now grate the boiled potato on a coarse grater. Also grate the raw potato.
- 4
Step 4

Add nutmeg, salt, pepper, and one egg.
- 5
Step 5

Add the prepared cheese, mix everything thoroughly, and transfer to a pudding baking dish. Bake for 40 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.
- 6
Step 6

For the ready pudding, you can prepare a wonderful sauce. Mix until smooth: 100 g sugar, 50 ml water, 20 ml brandy, 3 egg yolks and 1 whole egg, lemon zest, and vanilla sugar. Cook the mixture until it reaches a thick, sour cream-like consistency. Pour the sauce over the pudding.
