Apple pudding
Description
For a tender pudding texture, choose apples with soft flesh and pronounced sweetness. It's better not to use late-season apple varieties. You can adjust the amount of powdered sugar to taste.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the necessary ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Peel the apples and remove the cores, cut them into slices, and then cut each slice into three pieces.
- 3
Step 3

In a skillet, melt the butter and sauté the apples over low heat until lightly browned.
- 4
Step 4

In a bowl, mix milk, egg yolk, starch (or pudding), and powdered sugar.
- 5
Step 5

Beat the egg whites separately until foamy.
- 6
Step 6

Combine the milk-yolk mixture with the beaten egg whites. Gently stir using a whisk.
- 7
Step 7

Take small ceramic or metal molds. Place one tablespoon of sautéed apples into the bottom of each mold. Pour the remaining apples with the milk-egg mixture, previously setting aside 1/4 of the mixture from the total amount.
- 8
Step 8

Spread the resulting mixture into molds. Pour the reserved mixture on top, creating a "cap." Place the future pudding in a preheated oven at 180°C for 15 minutes, then reduce the heat to 160°C and bake for another 10 minutes.
- 9
Step 9

After the time has elapsed, remove the pudding and let it cool.
- 10
Step 10

The dessert can be served slightly warm or completely chilled. The choice is yours.
