Pudding from kulich
Description
I don't know about you, but after Easter I always have leftover pieces of Easter bread (kulich). The best and tastiest way to use these leftovers is to make a pudding using old English recipes. You can make the pudding with jam or without, with berries, with marmalade—it's entirely up to you :) The recipe is very simple and quite quick. Let's get cooking!
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

1. Slice the kulich or sweet bun into pieces (about 1 cm thick).
- 2
Step 2

2. Line the bottom and sides of the future dessert.

Step 3

3. Thoroughly mix and whisk the milk with 1 egg, regular and vanilla sugar, and a pinch of salt. Use a spoon to pour this mixture over the pieces of kulich, allowing them to soak. About half of the milk-egg mixture will be used for this.

Step 4

4. Place thick jam or preserves in the center.

Step 5

5. Add the second egg to the remaining egg-milk mixture, beat well, and carefully pour into both molds.

Step 6

6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees until the liquid thickens.

Step 7

7. Very tasty with milk :)
