Bird's milk cake with cherry jelly
Description
A simple recipe for very delicious jelly. It tastes similar to "Bird's Milk" candies. It can be made for a holiday or just for a family tea time.

1. Pour half of the gelatin with 150 ml of cold water. Let the gelatin sit in the water for 30 minutes until it swells. Place over heat and stir until the gelatin dissolves completely. Cool.

2. In a mixer, beat sour cream, sugar, and vanilla sugar. Gradually pour in the gelatin while constantly stirring. Prepare ramekins or individual cups. Pour the sour cream mixture into them and place in the refrigerator until set. Dissolve the second portion of gelatin. If desired, the cherry syrup can be mixed with cold water if you prefer less sweet jelly. Mix the syrup with the gelatin. Remove the dishes with the sour cream mixture from the refrigerator and pour the cherry jelly over the cream. Return to the refrigerator until the jelly sets. Decorate the jelly with berries or fruit pieces if desired.
