
Millet with chicken in a multicooker
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Millet porridge is especially beneficial for people suffering from cardiovascular diseases. In addition, millet with chicken cooked in a multicooker makes a healthy lunch or dinner, as the porridge does not contribute to fat accumulation but, on the contrary, helps remove toxins from the body. This dish is quickly and easily prepared in a multicooker. The finished dish can be served at the table.

1. For this dish, I don't use fillet. It's best to use chicken cut into small pieces. For example, a thigh cut into three parts.

2. Place the chicken in the multicooker bowl and select the "Frying" or "Baking" mode. Be sure to add a little vegetable oil and cook until the program finishes. In the middle of frying, add finely chopped onion and carrot to the chicken.

3. When the chicken is ready, add the thoroughly washed millet. I usually rinse the grain under running water several times. Add spices to the pot and season with salt to taste.

4. Pour water over the ingredients, making sure the water level is 2-3 centimeters above the grain. Set the "Porridge" mode and wait 40-50 minutes. After the time is up, the multicooker will complete the program, and the millet with chicken is ready to be served.

5. Before serving, you can add a little butter to the porridge and garnish everything with fresh herbs.
