
Buckwheat porridge

1. Pour the washed millet into a saucepan. Add clean water, enough to be about a finger's width above the level of the grain. Place on the stove, bring to a boil, then cook over medium heat for about 5–7 minutes, until all the water is absorbed.

2. Then pour milk into the saucepan and add sugar. Optionally, add pumpkin puree as well. Bring to a boil again and simmer over the lowest heat until done (about half an hour). Add vanilla extract and a spoonful of butter during cooking.

3. Peel the apples, cut them into small cubes. Place them in a pan with melted butter and sauté for a few minutes, stirring.

4. Add cinnamon and sugar. Fry until the apples turn a beautiful caramel color. Remove the porridge from the heat, cover with a lid, and wrap with a towel. Let it steep for 45-55 minutes.

5. When the porridge has steeped well, serve it with apples. Deliciously amazing!
