Description
The baking is simple and quick. Bread has always held a special place in our lives. It was the staple food of our ancestors for many centuries, and today we cannot imagine life without bread. However, the quality of today's bread found on store shelves leaves much to be desired. Therefore, it's best to bake bread at home. Serve warm or cooled. Perfect with tea.

Sift the flour.

Heat the water to 40°C. Dissolve the yeast in half of the water, add a little flour and sugar. Mix well. Place the starter in a warm spot (30°C) for about half an hour to an hour.

When the sponge has doubled in size and bubbles appear on its surface, add the remaining ingredients and knead the dough.

Shape the dough into a ball, place it in a greased dish, and set it aside in a warm place.

When the dough has doubled in size, punch it down. Repeat the procedure 2 times.

Transfer the prepared dough to a baking pan. Let it rise for about half an hour, covered with a towel. Bake in a preheated oven at 200-220°C under a lid (!) for approximately one hour (check for doneness with a wooden skewer). Let the baked bread cool under a towel, then serve.
