
Spicy ketchup
Description
Homemade sauce is easy and quick to prepare. The base of the sauce will be roasted vegetables—bell peppers, tomatoes, garlic, onion, plenty of fresh herbs, and spices. The preparation process is quite simple. You can store the sauce in the refrigerator or preserve it for winter. Be sure to try this recipe—I hope you'll enjoy the taste. Prepare all the necessary ingredients from the list.

Take a baking sheet and line it with parchment paper. Wash and dry the vegetables, remove the seeds from the pepper. Place the tomatoes whole on the baking sheet, cut the pepper in half, and also halve the onion and garlic. Put the baking sheet into an oven preheated to 190 degrees. Bake the vegetables for 40-50 minutes.

After some time, remove the baking sheet from the oven. Peel the tomatoes and peppers, and squeeze out the garlic.

Transfer all the prepared vegetables into a deep container.

Using an immersion blender, process all the prepared ingredients.

Transfer the resulting mixture to a saucepan, add salt, sugar, butter, spices, and chili. Simmer the sauce, stirring constantly, for 4-5 minutes.
