
Jam Gingerbread
Description
Making jam gingerbread can be for a family tea party or as a hearty breakfast, serving them with milk or hot cocoa. Any jam can be used: apricot, peach, plum, cherry, etc. Today I have a strawberry version. The flavor of the gingerbread will directly depend on the chosen jam, and each time you can get a new and interesting result for baking. It can be served with tea or coffee.

Prepare all the ingredients.

Transfer the jam into a deep bowl.

Blend the jam using a blender until smooth.

Add melted butter and baking soda.

Stir and add the flour gradually.

Knead a soft dough that does not stick to your hands. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Then dust the work surface with flour and roll the dough into a sheet about 1 cm thick. Using cookie cutters or a regular glass, cut out the shapes. Transfer them to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in the oven at 180 °C for about 20 minutes.
