Spicy chicken
Description
This dish will take you quite some time, but the result is worth it. First, prepare a marinade for the chicken. Bring the water to a boil and add bay leaf, allspice, and garlic. Let the chicken marinate overnight. Then drain the marinade and rub the meat with a mixture of honey, mustard, lemon juice, and oil, as well as dry spices. Place it in the refrigerator for another 4 hours. Next, stuff the chicken cavity with apple slices and sew up the opening. Place the chicken on a baking tray and roast in the oven at 180°C for one hour.

Step 1

Prepare the marinade - pour water into a large pot and bring to a boil. Add spices—bay leaves, allspice, and garlic head (cut each clove in half). Then cool the marinade, place the whole chicken into it, and refrigerate overnight.

Step 2

Mix honey, mustard, lemon juice, and vegetable oil. Drain the marinade and rub the chicken with this mixture. Add dry spices—turmeric, paprika, garlic, and coriander. Place the chicken in the refrigerator for another 4 hours.

Step 3

It's best to use sour apples. Cut them into slices without peeling and stuff them into the chicken cavity. Try to pack them as tightly as possible, then carefully sew up the cavity.

Step 4

Place the whole chicken on a baking tray and roast in the oven for an hour at 180 degrees. Check for doneness by piercing the chicken with a thin, long skewer. If cloudy, bloody juice comes out, continue roasting. If the juice is clear, the chicken is done.
