
Spicy beef with groats and cheese

1. Cut the beef and onion into cubes. Cut the bell pepper into pieces and mince the garlic. Heat 1 tablespoon of rapeseed oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large pot over high heat. Add the meat and cook for 1 minute.

2. Then add chipotle, beef broth, garlic, cumin, and chili powder. Mix well, then bring to a boil.

3. Reduce the heat to low, cover with a lid, and simmer for 2 1/2 to 3 hours, until the meat is tender and the liquid has thickened. Keep an eye on the meat and add more beef broth if necessary.

4. During the last hour of cooking time, prepare the grain. Heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of rapeseed oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a saucepan. Add chopped onion, sweet pepper, chili pepper, and cook for 5 minutes.

5. Add the grain, then add the broth and water. Stir, then bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover with a lid, and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

6. After 30 minutes, add milk mixed with cream in equal parts. Cook for another 20 to 30 minutes, until the grain becomes soft.
