Simple chocolate cake
Description
The baking is simple and quick. A simple chocolate cake turns out unbelievably delicious. Actually, it’s not a cake but a pie, but if you make, for example, two such pies and then spread a thick sour‑cream or buttercream on them – a magnificent festive cake will be guaranteed. My pie cracked on top, while the inside turned out slightly moist, very juicy and tender. It cracked because I baked it at 180 °C (as the recipe indicated), but it’s better to bake at 160 °C; then everything will be perfect.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Coffee can be used either brewed or instant, or you can even replace it with water, but with coffee it turns out tastier and more aromatic.
- 2
Step 2

Mix all the dry ingredients – flour, cocoa, sugar, baking soda neutralized with vinegar.
- 3
Step 3

In a separate container, mix the liquid ingredients (vegetable oil, coffee, and vanilla extract), pour them into the dry mixture and mix well. By consistency, the batter will resemble cake batter.
- 4
Step 4

Grease the baking pan with butter. Pour the batter and place the pan in the oven, preheated to 160 degrees, for 30 minutes.

Step 5

Now I specify that it should be baked at exactly 160 °C, otherwise the pie will crack just like mine. But even that isn’t a problem—I sprinkled powdered sugar on top, and it turned out great! Inside, the pie is very tender, juicy, moist, with a bright aroma! It feels as if there really is chocolate in it!

Step 6

Serve the simple chocolate cake with coffee or tea; all your family and guests will appreciate it!
